1. What information do we collect?

Personal data you provide to us

We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide when registering, using our Services, or contacting us. This includes:

  • Name, email address, username, password
  • Contact details (where required for services)
  • Communication content when contacting support

Application data

  • Device information: device type, operating system, model, app version, unique device IDs
  • Location data: only with consent (GPS, IP-based)
  • App usage: features used, log data, crash/error reports
  • Push notifications: only with consent

AI-specific data

  • Transcriptions: audio recordings you choose to convert into text
  • Chat inputs: text messages you send to the assistant

2. How do we process your data?

We process your personal data to:

  • enable account creation and authentication
  • provide and improve our Services
  • deliver support and communication
  • create anonymous usage statistics for optimization
  • provide AI-based features such as transcription and chat (only with consent)
  • comply with legal obligations
  • ensure security and prevent misuse

4. When and with whom do we share your data?

We only share your personal data with:

  • Auth0 – registration & authentication (including possible transfers to the US, safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses).
  • Google Cloud & AWS – hosting and cloud services (EU data centers, possible third-country transfers with SCCs).
  • Google Analytics & Tag Manager – anonymous usage statistics (EU processing, possible third-country transfers with SCCs).
  • Google Cloud AI – processing of AI features (EU data centers, possible third-country transfers with SCCs).

We do not share data with other third parties unless legally required.

Server Location

All personal data is processed and stored on servers located within the European Union.
This applies even if you use our Services from outside the EU, for example from the United States.

Processing within the EU ensures a high level of data protection in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
No personal data is stored in the United States or other third countries, unless required for certain service providers (e.g., Auth0, Google). In such cases, transfers are carried out solely on the basis of the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).


5. Do we use cookies and tracking technologies?

Yes.

  • We use cookies and similar technologies to ensure secure operation of the app.
  • We use Google Analytics for anonymous/pseudonymous usage statistics.
  • You may object to this processing at any time.
  • We do not use tracking for advertising purposes.

6. Do we offer AI-based products?

Yes.
Our app includes optional AI features:

  • Transcriptions (converting speech into text)
  • Chat with an AI assistant

Key points:

  • Processing is carried out solely to provide the requested function.
  • Data is not used for providers’ own purposes.
  • Use requires your explicit consent in the app.
  • Consent may be withdrawn at any time via app settings.
  • No automated decisions with legal effect are made solely based on AI.
  • Please do not enter sensitive personal data (e.g., health data).

7. How long do we store your data?

  • We store data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described.
  • Upon account termination, personal data will be deleted or anonymized no later than 3 months afterwards.
  • Backup archives will be isolated until deletion is technically possible.

8. How do we protect your data?

  • Use of technical and organizational measures (e.g., encryption, access control, monitoring).
  • No absolute security possible.
  • Data transmission occurs at your own risk.

9. Do we collect data from minors?

  • We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 years of age.
  • If we become aware that we have collected data from minors, we will promptly delete such data.
